LAW 3/2022, ON THE ORGANIZATION AND INTEGRATION OF VOCATIONAL TRAINING: A NEW OPPORTUNITY.

Abstract

After the recent publication of Organic Law 3/2022, of March 31, on the organization and integration of Vocational Training, we understand that a refection on the current situation of Dual Vocational Training in our country is necessary, to avoid falling into mistakes that have been made in the past. We begin the study with a historical analysis of Vocational Training in Spain, to know where we come from and be able to face where we are going with knowledge of the situation. This approach to the reality, the latest data available at the regional level on the situation of Dual Vocational Training is analyzed, taking a real picture of where we are, to take this point as the beginning of the exciting challenge that the arrival of the new Vocational Training.

Finally, we believe that the role of the education inspection in the implementation of this new Vocational Training is key, due to the deep knowledge that the education inspectorate has of the existing reality in educational centres.
