Abstract
Educational assessment frameworks are essential to ensure quality, equity and transparency in education systems. This article explores their relevance in educational inspection, highlighting their role after the implementation of the Organic Law 3/2020, of December 29, which modifies Organic Law 2/2006, of May 3, on Education (LOMLOE). A documentary analysis of national frameworks, such as those of the National Institute for Educational Evaluation (INEE), and international studies (PISA, TIMSS, PIRLS, among others) is carried out, assessing their impact on educational inspection and their adaptation to local contexts. Assessment frameworks provide effective tools to ensure quality, but present challenges such as resistance to change and lack of teacher training. International studies provide comparative standards that support this process. To effectively implement assessment frameworks, it is key to improve teacher training and adapt local practices, integrating lessons learned from international studies to ensure equitable and quality education.
