Abstract
In a globalized environment characterized by the acceleration of social, technological and cultural change, the functions and expectations of the education system are continuously being redefined. This reality brings with it a structural tension between institutional stability and the need for ongoing transformation. This article is based on a theoretical analysis of the culture of change in education, derived from a systematic review of specialized literature. The results show that the culture of change constitutes a structural component of the education system and that its development is associated with the institutionalization of processes of innovation, organizational adaptation, and continuous improvement. Furthermore, it is observed that the absence of such a culture limits the capacity to respond to dynamic and changing contexts. Consequently, the culture of change is consolidated as a key tool for educational development in complex and uncertain environments, by fostering systematic, sustainable, and well-founded responses, balancing innovation and organizational coherence.
