Abstract
This article presents a documentary review of the regulations on inclusive education in Spain and compares their development across the different territories. Starting from the national framework, it examines the regulations currently in force in the seventeen autonomous communities and in Ceuta and Melilla, focusing on the organisation of support measures, educational guidance, psychoeducational assessment, school placement and the monitoring of educational provision. The comparison identifies differences between regional approaches as well as common elements that are relevant to the work of the Education Inspectorate. On this basis, nine areas of supervision are proposed, relating to planning, the proportionality of measures, accessibility, participation, outcomes and improvement. Finally, in connection with those areas, four Erasmus+ projects identified as Good Practice are analysed in order to assess their contributions, limitations and the conditions required for transfer to other contexts.
