QUALIFICA SCHOOLS IN PORTUGAL: ADQUISITION OF KEY COMPETENCIES THROUGH IMPROVING DIGITALIZATION IN ADULTS EDUCATION.

Abstract

This document is the result of a Job shadowing activity that took place in and Adult Center in Portugal from March 17 to 21, 2025 within the framework of the Erasmus project led by USIE between March and November 2025, "Acquisition of key competences through the improvement of digitalization in adult education". The aim of this work is to present the peculiarities of adult education in Portugal, in general, and of the Qualifica center of San João de Estoril, in particular. The different training modalities are described, Adult Education and Training (EFA), the system of Recognition, Validation and Certification of Competences (RVCC) and Portuguese as a Language of Reception (PLA).
